She wrote, “Walking towards the weekend The last two weeks have been particularly difficult as Gene was travelling for work & I was holding fort doing mama duties which include - waking up the kids, getting them ready for school, packing their lunch box, dropping & picking them up from school, dinner & finally putting them to bed.”
Her candid reflection highlighted the demanding nature of parenting, especially when one parent is absent. She shared her excitement about spending quality time with her children before heading off to another shoot, stating that while this time together was rewarding and filled with love, it also came with significant stress. “I’ve hardly had a moment to myself or ended up doing any work except looking after them,” she noted. This experience led her to recognize the immense effort and sacrifice all parents make for their children, particularly single mothers and fathers.
