Netflix has reportedly acquired the digital rights for 'Salaar' in all five languages for a substantial amount of Rs 162 crore. While there is speculation that the film might be released on Netflix in January, possibly around the festival of Sankranthi on January 12, there has been no official confirmation from the filmmakers or Netflix regarding the exact streaming date.
Interestingly, The digital deal with Netflix for 'Salaar' has set a record-breaking, making it the highest-ever OTT deal for a South Indian film.
