EAST FLATBUSH, Brooklyn (PIX11) -- Police were involved in a shooting in Brooklyn Monday evening, NYPD officials said.

The incident happened at Remsen Avenue and East 57th Street in East Flatbush around 5:50 p.m., according to the NYPD.

Police fired shots during the incident, officials said. No cops were shot, according to authorities.
