OZONE PARK, Queens (PIX11) -- Police have identified a man who was killed after he and two others were struck by a vehicle in Queens on Friday.
Authorities say Zhihong Shi, 31, was pronounced dead at the hospital after he was hit at the intersection of 87 Street and Atlantic Avenue around 10:30 a.m. Shi was with two other men, ages 67 and 48, who were all unloading tools from a double-parked vehicle, police tell PIX11 News.
According to officials, a 35-year-old driving a Ford Econoline van was heading down 87 Street when he suffered a medical emergency and lost control of his vehicle.
The van slammed into two other vehicles after hitting Shi and the two men with him, authorities say.
The 67-year-old man with Shi was left in critical condition, while the 48-year-old man is said to be in stable condition, according to police.
The driver of the Ford was also taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Police are continuing to investigate the situation, but so far, there are no arrests.
