BABYLON, N.Y. (PIX11) --- Authorities have identified the man whose body parts were found at Long Island parks last month, police said.

The victim was identified as Malcolm C. Brown, 53, of Yonkers, police said Friday.

Authorities also found the remains of a woman, who was identified as Donna R. Conneely, 59, scattered on Long Island, police said.

Steven Brown, 44, Jeffrey Mackey, 38, Amanda Wallace, 40 and Alexis Nieves, 33, were each charged with concealment of a human corpse, hindering prosecution and tampering with physical evidence in connection to the deaths, police said.

Steven Brown is the male victim's cousin.

Body parts belonging to the two victims were found at Southards Pond Park in Babylon on Feb. 29, authorities said. More of their remains were found on March 5 in a wooded area across from 103 Lakeway Dr. in West Babylon as well as at Bethpage State Park, according to police.

Investigators are waiting on an autopsy report to reveal more information on the cause of death of both victims. A motive in the case remained unclear.

All four suspects were released without bail after they were arraigned, which reignited the debate about bail reform in New York.

While out on bail, Wallace was arrested last week for allegedly shoplifting from a CVS store in Lindenhurst, police said.
