The Chinese smartphone maker has confirmed that it will launch the Poco X6 smartphone series in India on January 11, 2024. The Poco X6 series consist of two smartphones — Poco X6 and
Poco X6 Pro
.
“Poco is all set to expand its most popular and best-selling X series portfolio with the launch of X6 series - POCO X6 Pro and POCO X6 in India. Set to hit the market at 5:30PM on January 11, 2024, the POCO X6 series promises to continue the legacy of its predecessors by pushing the boundaries of performance and delivering an exceptional smartphone experience,” said the company.
The company has also confirmed that Poco X6 Pro will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra chipset.
Poco X6 likely specifications
The rumored Poco X6 is expected to feature a sizeable 6.67-inch OLED display with an impressive 120Hz refresh rate. Reports suggest that the smartphone will boast a substantial 16GB of RAM and offer expandable storage of up to 1TB through microSD card support.
Designed with a glass back and a plastic frame, the Poco X6 is rumored to showcase a camera setup comprising a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro shooter. Powering the device is a substantial 5000mAh battery, complemented by a rapid 90W fast charging capability.
Anticipated to be available on Flipkart, the Poco X6 is expected to make its debut early next year, aligning with the launch timelines of other smartphones in the market.
