Poco is all set to extend its portfolio of budget smartphones before the end of 2023. The Chinese smartphone maker is gearing up to launch its new Poco C65 in India on December 15, following its global launch in November. According to reports, Poco will launch its new handset in India with the same design as its global variant. The specifications and design of the Poco C65 are expected to be similar.

Poco C65 price and availability
In a recent update on X platform, Poco India officially announced that Poco C65 is coming to India on December 15. The post also confirmed its exclusive availability on Flipkart and offered a glimpse of the phone in a vibrant purple colour. Going by the rear panel design, which seems to match its global counterpart, we can expect similar specifications. However, Poco India has kept the finer details of the Indian design under wraps for now.
As for the price front, globally, the price of Poco C65 starts at $129 (approximately Rs. 10,700) for the 6GB + 128GB variant, and to $149 (approximately Rs. 12,400) for the 8GB + 256GB configuration. Black, Blue, and Purple are the available colour options globally.

As for the specification, the global variant of the Poco C65 features a 6.74-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1,600 x 720 pixels, featuring a 90Hz refresh rate. Powering the device is a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC coupled with an ARM Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU.
The phone further offers configurations with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage, expandable up to 1TB through a microSD card.
Operating on Android 13-based MIUI 14 for Poco, the phone ensures a smooth and up-to-date user experience.
Under the hood for photography, the Poco C65 houses a dual-camera setup at the rear, comprising a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel sensor featuring an f/2.4 aperture macro lens. On the front, the global variant sports an 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture, housed within a centrally-aligned water drop notch atop the display.
For power, the device offers a 5,000mAh battery, supporting 18W wired fast charging through a micro USB port. To enhance security, the phone incorporates a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and GLONASS.
