Sony
has reportedly revealed some key details about the upcoming launch of the
PlayStation 5
“Genshin Impact” bundle in China. The highly anticipated set is expected to include a PS5 Slim lightweight console (optical drive version) along with a “Genshin Impact”
starter set
redemption card. According to a report by AFKGaming, the starter set will also include a Skin Selector bundle which may allow players to claim any 4-star skins of their choice.

An X account named Genshin Update has shared a post on the social media platform that claims that the PS5

bundle is expected to release on January 26 in China. The console-game bundle will be offered at a price of 3,599 yuan (nearly Rs 42,000). As per the post, pre-orders for the same have already started back on January 20. The report claims that the bundle will be exclusive to China and won’t be available to global players.
Another X account named Genshin Universe shared a post claiming that players will be able to acquire any one of the 4-star skins introduced throughout the game for free.
How to claim free skins
To access the Skin Selector bundle, players have to buy the
PlayStation 5 Genshin Impact
Starter Set bundle. However, the free skin redemption period for the Skin Selector will begin a few days after the launch date, on January 31. This will coincide with the release of Version 4.4 of Genshin Impact that Sony confirmed in a blog post. Interested players will have until March 12, 2026, to secure this exclusive offer.
Skins that will be available for free
The Skin Selector will allow players to choose any 4-star skins available until Version 4.4. This includes the latest outfits for popular characters like Ganyu and Shenhe. However, Diluc's Red Dead of Night Skin, a 5-star skin and Xingqiu's Bamboo Rain, a free 4.4 patch skin have been excluded from this offer. Here's a list of the available 4-star skins that players can choose from:

- Jean: Sea Breeze Dandelion
- Klee: Blossoming Starlight
- Ayaka: Springbloom Missive
