NEW DELHI: IPL franchise Rajasthan Royals on Sunday admitted to editing Ravichandran Ashwin into the team's group photo, pointing out that veteran spinner being part of the pic was even more important.
The franchise Rajasthan was at the receiving end of fans' trolling after they shared a team photo that looked photoshopped.
The picture was taken after the Royals' 2024 campaign came to an end.
In the photo, Ashwin looked in his unusual avatar with bulked up muscles, sitting at the corner left.
Fans were quick to notice the error and trolled the franchise for their gaffe.
Later in the day, Royals admitted to the goof-up with a hilarious post that had a dialogue from popular Hindi series Mirzapur.

campaign came to an end with the defeat against finalists Sunrisers Hyderabad in Qualifier 2.
Director of Cricket Kumar Sangakkara admitted that fatigue played a big part in their poor run at the back end of the IPL, which possibly derailed their campaign.
RR, who won eight out of their opening nine matches, were firmly in contention to finish in the top two. But, the Sanju Samson-led side endured a four-match losing streak besides a washout tie, which forced the side to settle for a third-place finish.
Although they bounced back with a win over RCB in the Eliminator, Sunrisers Hyderabad got the better of RR in Qualifier 2 in Ahmedabad on Friday.
