Person struck by train in Brooklyn; L subway service delayed: MTA

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) – A person was struck by a train in Brooklyn on Thursday, causing major subway service delays on the L line, according to the MTA.

There is no L train service between Broadway Junction and Lorimer Street. Eighth Avenue-bound L trains will end at Broadway Junction, where they will turn for Canarsie-Rockaway Parkway-bound service, according to the MTA.

Canarsie-Rockaway Parkway-bound L trains will end at Lorimer Street, where they will turn for Eighth Avenue-bound service.

Commuters can take the nearby A, C, J, and M trains as an alternative.
