Person hit by vehicle in Manhattan: FDNY

MIDTOWN, Manhattan (PIX11) -- A person was hit by a vehicle in Manhattan on Monday, according to the FDNY.

A report came in about a police officer being hit by a vehicle near East 45th Street and First Avenue around 4 p.m., FDNY officials said.

Officials said the person was taken to the hospital to be treated for their injuries.
