Person hit by Amtrak train, train route canceled

NEW YORK (PIX11) – A person was hit by an Amtrak Train Tuesday afternoon, according to Amtrak Northeast. 

The Acela train No. 2164 is canceled between Newark and Boston.

"Travel Adjustment: Due to a trespasser coming into contact with the train, Acela 2162 is canceled between Newark (NWK) and Boston (BOS). All customers will be accommodated onto the next available service. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.”
