Pema Khandu takes oath as chief minister of Arunachal Pradesh

on Thursday took oath as the chief minister of Arunachal Pradesh for the third consecutive term. Further, Chowna Mein took oath as the deputy chief minister.
The swearing-in ceremony witnessed the presence of Union home minister Amit Shah, defence minister Rajnath Singh, Union ministers JP Nadda, Kiren Rijiju and Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma.

On Wednesday, the saffron party re-elected Khandu as the leader of the legislature party in the state.
In the 2024 assembly elections in the state, BJP emerged victorious by securing 46 seats in the 60-member Arunachal Pradesh assembly.
