Pedestrian struck by MTA bus in Queens: officials

QUEENS. N.Y. (PIX11) -- A pedestrian was rushed to the hospital Friday morning, after getting hit by an MTA bus in Queens, MTA officials said.

The incident happend around 5:19 a.m. when the bus driver of a Q39 bus struck a pedestrain while maing a right turn on Elit Ave. at Fresh Pond officials said.

First responders took the the victim to Elmhurst Hospital, officials said. The extent of the victim’s injuries is unclear.
