Passports and $12K in cash taken in Queens burglary pattern: NYPD

QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) -- Multiple suspects are wanted for stealing cash, jewelry, and official documents, including passports in a burglary pattern in Queens, according to the NYPD.

Two reported burglaries are under investigation, police announced on Monday.

The first burglary occurred on Thursday, March 7, at around 2 p.m. Two unknown individuals forcefully entered a residence in the vicinity of 144 Street and 15th Road, police said.

The individuals broke the front door, and took $12,000 in cash, jewelry, and official documents, according to the NYPD. The suspects then fled on foot.

The second burglary took place at around 2:32 p.m. on Friday, March 15. Three unknown individuals entered a residence in the vicinity of Auburndale Lane and Northern Boulevard, police said.

The suspects entered through an unlocked rear door, took passports and official documents, and fled westbound towards Northern Boulevard, according to the NYPD.
