Over 600 Ayurvedic doctors selected in recruitment drive

recruitment drive

for

Ayurvedic doctors

bore fruit with the declaration of

results

on Tuesday night.
The department of

AYUSH

had advertised for 611 positions and has selected 601 doctors.
The recruitment was undertaken in four stages. As many as 934 candidates were shortlisted for interview. In all, 874 candidates reported for the interview which was conducted between June 20 and July 19.

The result paved way for the selection 601 candidates.
Officials said that 435 of the total 611 positions belonged to the unreserved category, while 61 were set aide for the economically weaker sections. As many as 58 were kept aside for OBC, 29 for SC and 28 for STs.

The government is working to run health and wellness centres with the help of AYUSH workforce.

He emphasized Jagan's mission to empower socially, economically, and politically backward communities. Dharmana praised Jagan as a great social reformer who has transformed the notion of equality for marginalized sections.
