The OnePlus 12 is already up for sale in China and so, the specifications as well as the design is known. The global market, including India, will have the same features as suggested by some of the teasers published by the company. Design
The company has already revealed the design of the OnePlus 12. The official images show that the 2024 OnePlus flagship phone has retained the design of the OnePlus 11 and the company has introduced it in new colour finishes. The OnePlus 12 looks to have marble finish and the green colour looks stunning. The black colour finish is similar to what we have seen on OnePlus 9RT and OnePlus 11 smartphone. Additionally, the device has an IP65 rating for dust and splash resistance.
Display
The flagship OnePlus 12 phone features a 6.82-inch QHD+ 2K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. This one has an LTPO display, and it has support for 1Hz to 120Hz refresh rate. This will automatically get adjusted based on the content on the screen. The screen even has support for a peak brightness of 4,500nits, making it othe brightest display in the industry. Additionally, the panel also has support for Dolby Vision, 10Bit Color Depth, ProXDR, 2160Hz PWM dimming.
Chipset, cooling system
The OnePlus 12 is powered by Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. It is backed by the latest LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage solutions for better speeds. The company also revealed that its new OnePlus 12 smartphone has a Dual Cryo-velocity Cooling system that "improves in cooling surface area, cooling material, and structure design" for a better gaming experience.
Camera
There is a triple camera system. This includes a 50-megapixel LYT808 Sony sensor with OIS. It is accompanied by a 64-megapixel OV64B sensor with 3x periscope telephoto camera and OIS. In addition to this, there is also a third camera - a 48-megapixel IMX581 ultra-wide camera. The camera setup is the same as the OnePlus Open smartphone. On the front is a 32-megapixel sensor for selfies.
Battery, fast charging
The OnePlus packs a 5,400mAh battery with support for 100W SuperVOOC charging tech. The company has also given support for 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging.
