On-duty MTA conductor attacked while breaking up fight in Queens subway station: NYPD

JAMAICA, Queens (PIX11) – An MTA conductor was struck while he was breaking up a fight inside a Queens train station on May 20, according to the NYPD.

The fight broke out on the Jamaica Center–Parsons/Archer station train platform around 11:50 p.m., police said.

The 36-year-old conductor was intervening when a man bashed him in the face, causing a minor injury, according to authorities.

The suspect is described as a man around 35 to 40 years old with a slim build. He was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, gray jeans and a black du-rag.
