NYPD seeks suspects in fatal parking lot assault in Brooklyn

BOROUGH PARK, Brooklyn (PIX11) -- Police are searching for two men in connection to a fatal parking lot attack in Brooklyn on Sept. 18.

The incident happened around 7 p.m. in the Shop Rite supermarket parking lot at 1080 McDonald Avenue, police say.

Two men were sleeping in the parking lot when they were approached by two unknown individuals, according to the NYPD.

The two sleeping men were hit multiple times with a baseball bat and metal pipes, police say. One of the victims, identified as Coj Jervis Jonas Ajpuac, 38, died from injuries at Maimonides Medical Center on Oct. 2. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner deemed his death a homicide.

The other victim, a 42-year-old, sustained cuts and bruising to the head and body. He was released.

Driver attacked with metal pipe after car crash in Brooklyn: NYPD

Police are seeking Francisco Corocoj, 25, and Manuel Perez, 49, in connection to the homicide. The two are known to frequent McDonald Avenue and Ocean Parkway, police say.

NYPD released the following images of the Corocoj and Perez.
