NYPD school safety agent arrested in Queens

QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) --- An NYPD school safety agent was arrested Thursday in Queens, police said.

Michael Ramon, 28, was taken into custody and charged with grand larceny at around 11 a.m., according to the NYPD. Police could not provide additional information about the incident.

Ramon's arraignment was pending Friday, according to court records.

The Department of Education could not immediately be reached Friday.
