NYPD school safety agent accused of sexual abuse

QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) --- An NYPD school safety agent is accused of sexually abusing a victim on a subway platform in Queens, according to a law enforcement source.

Elvin Espinal, 28, was on the No. 7 train platform when he allegedly touched the victim's buttocks, according to the source. No information about the victim was available.

Espinal was arrested Monday and charged with sexual abuse, forcible touching and harassment, police said. He has been suspended without pay.
