NYPD releases new image of man accused of slashing tourist in Queens train station

QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) – Police have released a new image of a man accused of slashing a tourist in the Queens Plaza train station last week.

The suspect allegedly slashed the 29-year-old victim's neck from behind, unprovoked, on the platform of the E, M and R line.

The victim is expected to recover, according to authorities.

Police describe the suspect as last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and black vest.
