NYC's Jerelyn Rodriguez wins national Remarkable Women contest

NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) – Jerelyn Rodriguez will take $10,000 back home to the Bronx thanks to her remarkable work for The Knowledge School, a nonprofit shaping digital leaders who will use technology to lift their community out of poverty.

Rodriguez, named PIX11’s Remarkable Woman in early April, won Nexstar’s national competition at a ceremony in Hollywood.

Remarkable Women 2024

Some 112 remarkable women were nominated, and they’ve been featured on Nexstar stations over months for inspiring public policy, leading by example, and improving their community's quality of life.

Nexstar donates one thousand dollars to the non-profit of choice for each market's remarkable woman.
