NYC reacts to the solar eclipse

NEW YORK (PIX11) — The total solar eclipse passed through Mexico, the United States, and Canada on Monday, and as you would expect, the internet was buzzing about the celestial event.

This was the first total solar eclipse to take place in New York State in close to 100 years. People flocked to the Empire State in search of hotel rooms, the best sightseeing spots, and viewing parties around the state with the hope of not having to wait 20 years to view the next eclipse.
