NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) -- New York City was ranked the second worst city in the United States for package theft, according to a study by Casino.org.
The study surveyed 3,000 Americans across the United States, to determine the states and cities hit the most with package thefts. New York City was crowned the second worst city, with 81% of surveyors saying they regularly face porch piracy.
Over 90,000 packages are reported stolen or lost in transit each day, according to city officials.
Philadelphia was ranked the worst city for package theft, with 82% of Philadelphians reporting package theft regularly, the study revealed. New Orleans was ranked third, followed by Orlando and Los Angeles in fourth and fifth place.
