NEW YORK (PIX11) -- With the first day of school quickly approaching, the New York City Department of Education is looking to fill numerous positions in public schools across the city.
Many of the openings are for school aides and family workers. Teaching certificates are not required unless specified.
The job listing will provide information on how to apply. For school aides and family workers, applicants will be directed to send a cover letter and resume to the employer.
All applicants are subject to a fingerprint and background check.
