NEW YORK (PIX11) - New York City authorities have busted two illegal migrant shelters over the past three days.
The illegal shelter busts also came on the heels of several high-profile crimes allegedly committed by migrants, which has Mayor Eric Adams calling for changes to the city’s sanctuary laws. He’s asking for ICE to be involved as soon as the NYPD makes an arrest — instead of waiting for a conviction.
