NYC hiring fair offers jobs with salaries starting at $73K

NEW YORK (PIX11) -- Are you on the search for a new job? The New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development is holding a hiring fair with salaries ranging from $73,878 – $87,701.

The HPD is recruiting Construction Project Managers for the Emergency Operations Division. Duties include inspecting and monitoring work related to emergency repairs and hazardous materials abatement for compliance with plans and specifications.

Applicants must have a driver's license, a high school diploma with five years of full-time experience managing and/or inspecting construction projects, or a bachelor's degree with coursework in engineering, engineering technology, architecture, or construction.

Preferred skills include the ability to speak and read in more than one language. Selected candidates must obtain certification as an EPA Risk Assessor from the Agency within four months.
