NYC Hiring: Entry-level tech jobs paying at least $60K

NEW YORK (PIX11) – Multiple New York City departments are hiring for positions in technology, data, and innovation, as listed on the JobsNYC website.

Many of the openings are available with the Department of Environment Protection and the Department of Transportation. Salaries for the positions range from $62,370 to $150,000.

The Department of Transportation is hiring a Security Architect and a Security Analyst. The architect would help ensure the agency’s projects comply with citywide security policies and use data to make other necessary recommendations. The analyst would need to respond to real-time security threats and provide support. 

Meanwhile, the Department of Environment Protection is looking for an Assistant Civil Engineer, an Assistant Chemical Engineer, and an Instrumentation Specialist. Employees in these positions would be responsible for data analysis of water quality parameters, plant performance, critical equipment function, field sampling, and more.

The Office of Emergency Management and Budget is also hiring for Network Analyst. The role would require one to maintain network hardware and software as well as assist with troubleshooting technological issues.
