NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) – New York City is home to 12 of the 50 best bars in North America, and an East Village spot took second place, according to a new ranking.

New York City’s best bar is second only to a hotspot in Mexico City, according to the ranking from the 50 Best Brand. The ranking names 21 destinations from Canada to the Caribbean – and in the number two spot is Superbueno in the East Village.

Coming in the third spot for New York City is Martiny’s, a Japanese-style bar opened in Gramercy in early 2022, which serves a Caprese cocktail and pumpkin drink.
