NYC construction worker stabbed in fight over music, police say

UPPER WEST SIDE, Manhattan (PIX11) – A construction worker in Manhattan stabbed a coworker during a fight over music Friday, police said.

The stabbing happened around 12:30 p.m. at a construction site at 36 West 66th St., located between Central Park and Columbus Avenue on the Upper West Side, according to the NYPD.

A 23-year-old construction worker stabbed a 34-year-old construction worker three times in the torso, police said.

The 34-year-old was taken to a hospital in unknown condition, authorities said.
