NYC affordable housing lottery open for over 30 buildings

NEW YORK (PIX11) – Affordable housing in New York City can be hard to come by, but over 30 housing lotteries are still open.

The lotteries listed all have expiration dates, so those hoping to win might need to act fast, according to NYC Housing Connect.

The following buildings are available to apply to throughout the city:

Manhattan

21 West End Avenue
- The lottery closes on Feb. 12, but there is already a waiting list.
266 West 96th Street Apartments closes on Feb. 16
42 West 33rd Street
- The lottery closes on Feb. 20, but there is already a waiting list.
Sendero Verde Phase II at 50 East 112th St. Lottery closes on March 11

Brooklyn

Linden Grove Senior Residence at 223 Linden St. Lottery closes on Feb. 9
Hanson Place Community Plaza at 142 S Portland Ave. closes on Feb. 14
1541 New York Avenue closes Feb. 14
88 Bay 34 Street closes Feb. 14
2537 Ocean Avenue Apartments closes Feb. 16
