NY doctor delivers baby in same room as he delivered mom 22 years ago

ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y. (PIX11) -- Life came full circle at one Long Island hospital this week.

New mom Emoni Wise gave birth to her baby boy, Legend Wise, on Sunday at Catholic Health Mercy Hospital.

Making the moment extra special, the doctor who delivered Legend, Dr. Jay Seraji, also happened to deliver Wise in the same operating room 22 years ago.

Wise and Legend were discharged Wednesday, but not before gathering for a picture with grandmother Carmella Warren-Wise and, of course, Dr. Seraji.
