in India today. The smartphone will be launched today (March 5) at 5pm. The launch event, dubbed "Fresh Eyes," is set to be broadcast live on Nothing's official YouTube channel.
In contrast to Nothing's previous two phones, Phone (1) and Phone (2), which have dominated the market for the Pei-founded startup, Phone (2a) is anticipated to be a more budget-friendly option.
Nothing Phone (2a): What to expect
The Phone 2A is tailored for users seeking excellent performance and camera capabilities without necessarily requiring top-tier specifications. It's projected to be priced lower than the Phone 2, yet Nothing assures it will maintain the same level of quality.
Several renders of the Phone 2a have surfaced online in recent weeks. One render depicted the Phone 2a with a centrally positioned camera module surrounded by the Glyph, while another showcased a design akin to the Phone 2 but without the Glyph. Anticipate the

to adopt the familiar design language seen in other products from the company. Additionally, Pei hinted in the video that the Phone 2a's design would resemble that of the Phone 1 but with some alterations.
Nothing is anticipated to unveil the phone's design later this month at MWC 2023.
Rumors suggest that the Phone 2a may feature a 6.7-inch 120Hz OLED display with uniform bezels and a punch-hole cutout. Leaked images indicate a dual-camera setup for the Phone 2a, purportedly identical to the other Nothing Phones – comprising a 50MP wide and ultrawide sensor. It could be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset, coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Operating on Nothing OS 2.5, based on Android 14, is also a possibility for the Phone 2a.
