NEW DELHI: Royal Challengers Bengaluru continued their fairytale run in

IPL 2024

to grab the fourth and final play-off berth with a 27-run thrilling win over defending champions Chennai Super Kings on Saturday.
It was the sixth straight win for RCB, who first posted a solid 218 for five after being invited to bat and then restricted CSK to 191 for 7 to make it to the play-offs for the ninth time in 15 seasons.

The RCB win came as a surprise for many and former CSK batter

Ambati Rayudu

, in particular, was in total disbelief with CSK being knocked out.
After his viral reaction to CSK's loss on Saturday night, Rayudu on Sunday got involved in a hilarious banter with former RCB pacer

Varun Aaron

on a Star Sports show.

With Bengaluru going crazy with the celebrations last night, Rayudu sarcastically said, "We saw what was the reaction in the streets of Bengaluru, in fact CSK should give one of their trophies to RCB."
Responding to Rayudu's remark, Aaron funnily said, "He's just not able to digest the fact that RCB knocked out CSK."

With 17 to get in the final over to qualify for the playoffs, left-arm pacer Yash Dayal floored the likes of MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja to help RCB a famous win.
Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad have already qualified for the play-offs.
