Pavi Caretaker - Official Trailer
Reports indicate that 'Thankamani', a crime drama starring Dileep, was initially expected to have an OTT release in April. However, no updates followed this announcement, leaving the film without a digital home. Similarly, 'Bandra' and 'Pavi Caretaker' have also not secured any OTT deals.
There were previous reports suggesting that 'Bandra' might be released on Disney+. While an exact date for the OTT premiere has not been disclosed, sources from the Newsbest website hint that 'Bandra' could make its digital streaming debut in the concluding week of December. Despite these speculations, the film has yet to find a confirmed streaming platform.
This situation mirrors the earlier crisis faced by the survival drama 'Manjummel Boys'. Initially, there were no OTT takers for the film as producers demanded a hefty sum of Rs 20 crore for its digital rights, according to Mathrubhumi reports. However, 'Manjummel Boys' eventually began its digital streaming.
Meanwhile, Dileep has the most-awaited projects 'Parakkum Pappan' and 'D 150' in the pipeline.
