Nine Maoists - five of whom were allegedly involved in an IED attack on

police

last month - were arrested from separate places in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh's Bastar division on Wednesday.
While five Maoists were caught in

Farsegarh

, four were apprehended in the forests of Madded, police said.
During questioning, the Farsegarh group admitted to triggering the May 15 IED blast in which a passing police car was wrecked, but an inspector and a constable escaped.
