NEW YORK (PIX11) – New York is expanding its efforts to stop human trafficking.
Gov. Kathy Hochul recently signed a series of bills to shed light on the issue, which targets young women.
The NYPD's human trafficking task force conducted more than 300 operations in 2024. The chair of the New York State Assembly's Human Trafficking Committee, Assemblymember Jessica Gonzales-Rojas, talks about the new initiatives on PIX11 Morning News.
