MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) -- What toys will be hot for the holidays? PIX11 News got a sneak peek as toymakers unveiled their newest creations at The Toy Insider's 15th Annual Sweet Suite Wednesday night in Manhattan.
Laurie Schacht, the Chief Toy Officer for The Toy Insider, said educational toys and small surprise unwrap toys remain popular.
The first-ever AI Teddy Bear is also coming to store shelves. Poe, made by Skyrocket, will tell your children customized bedtime stories that you can choose on an app. Poe speaks twenty languages, and each story will be different every time.
"It's using AI safely, it's not out there in the world, it's only connected to the bear," Schacht told PIX11.
Nintendo unveiled its new World Championships NES Edition. It allows users to test their "speed running skills across more than 150 challenging moments from 13 classic NES™ games" and compete against players worldwide online.
There are also new takes on old favorites. Radio Flyer, famous for the little red wagons, is out with their new Park & Play Camper. It's a ride-on toy for children over one that transforms into a playset for camping fun.
