'Never finish training without...': Bravo's advice for young LSG pace sensation

NEW DELHI: One of the greatest all-rounders to have ever featured in the Indian Premier League, 'Champion'

Dwayne Bravo

has done it all in the world's biggest and the best T20 league.
The Chennai Super Kings great, Bravo, who brought the Caribbean swagger to the IPL, was known to bat with the typical West Indian flair. And when it came to bowling, the legend was a master of deception and made the batters' heads turn with his variations and accuracy.
The now retired Bravo, who has been the bowling coach of CSK since 2022, now focusses on sharing his experience with the young and upcoming bowlers.

On the eve of CSK's game against Lucknow Super Giants, Bravo was seen interacting with the young Caribbean pace sensation

Shamar Joseph

.

Joseph, who burst onto the scene in his debut series in Australia earlier this year, grabbing a five-wicket haul in his maiden Test in Adelaide, recently featured in his first ever IPL game for LSG.
Bravo, on Friday, was seen sharing a light-hearted moment with the young pacer and also gave bowling tips to Joseph.

Look at the man of the moment... If you want to bowl, you have to get in the habit of bowling more than what you bowl in the game. If you want to get in the rhythm, never finish a training session without bowling 12 yorkers. Stay on the top of the off stump. Do your skills. Do your pace," Bravo told Joseph.
LSG brought in Joseph as a replacement for English pacer Mark Wood. The pacer was bought for Rs 3 crore by the franchise.
However, Joseph did not have an IPL debut to remember as he went wicketless and leaked 47 runs in his maiden game.
