I had never met her prior to working in WWE.”
Speaking on the show about her relationship with Beth, she shared, "She debuted and I was just getting hired and I like that she's different, I like that she's not your typical Barbie doll, she's beautiful and she's strong and she loves wrestling ... she was somebody that like when I was first getting started in my WWE career I really looked up to her a lot ... Beth and I both like being strong and making bold statements with our gear, but we also loved being feminine and we loved being girly and strong at the same time and I think that there's a nice blend to that."
Natalya revealed that her relationship with Beth Phoenix began when the former reached out to her on MySpace

Natalya also continued to add how the dynamic duo came to be. She narrated that The Glamazon had reached out to her on MySpace during her initial days in WWE. The two have shared a strong bond of friendship ever since.
Commenting on the same, she said, “Beth Phoenix messaged me on MySpace and she’s like, ‘Hey I’m Beth. My whole childhood I grew up idolizing your family and I just had heard that there was a female Hart getting into the business. I wanted to reach out and just introduce myself.’ Long story short. We’ve been best friends ever since.”

Natalya also spoke about how the duo had great fun working on their costumes together. She shared, “Beth always wanted to pay homage to my family with pink and black. You know, we got these little sparkly study-like spikes made for one of our costumes. We always wanted to match each other.”
Beth Phoenix retired from WWE back in 2012, post which the duo did not participate actively together. However, Natalya continued being a superstar in the women’s division.
