The latest season of Prime Video's Panchayat has taken social media by storm with memes and fun posts. From Pradhan Ji’s lauki obsession and Prahlad Cha’s nuggets of wisdom to Vikas’s innocent banter and the adorable story of Sachiv Ji and Rinki, the characters have firmly embedded themselves in the hearts of fans. Among the various tributes, is a video by Palash Shrivastava, a Mumbai-based artist who added his own lyrics to the foot-tapping Panchayat theme music.

Shrivastava’s lyrics vividly capture the essence of the show's key characters, bringing their personalities to life through his words. He sings about the village of Phulera, highlighting characters like Sachiv ji, Pradhan, and Prahlad Cha. His verses are both humorous and affectionate: “Iss gaon ka naam hai Phulera. Hain yahan Pradhan aur Prahlad Cha. Sachiv ji hain hamare nayak, inki aakhaon mein hai sapne. Vikas unke hain sahayak. Manju devi ki pradhan.”

Sharing his creation on social media, Shrivastava wrote, “Here’s my take on Panchayat’s iconic theme with a lyrical twist.”
