These four teams, along with Mumbai Indians, have been part of all 17 editions of the IPL.

Following Mumbai Indians, RCB have played 244 IPL matches, placing them next in line. They are followed by DC, who have played 241 matches. KKR have participated in 239 matches, securing the fourth spot, while PBKS have played 235 matches, occupying the fifth position.
At the sixth position, Chennai Super Kings have participated in 228 matches thus far. The Yellow Army was absent from IPL in both 2016 and 2017.
Under the leadership of Rohit Sharma, they broke their title drought in 2013. Rohit-led MI replicated this success in IPL 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2020.
