MTA conductor slashed in neck on C train in Brooklyn: NYPD

BED-STUY, Brooklyn (PIX11) – An MTA conductor was slashed in the neck on a subway train in Brooklyn early Thursday morning, according to the NYPD.

The 59-year-old conductor was performing his duties on a C train near the Rockaway Avenue station around 3:40 a.m. and stuck his head out the cab window, according to authorities. That's when he was slashed in the neck with an unknown object, police said.

The conductor was brought to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center, according to authorities.

Police described the suspect as a man wearing a blue vest. He was last seen fleeing the scene, according to authorities.
