Motorola’s most expensive smartphone of 2023 gets a price cut

Motorola

launched its flagship foldable smartphone —

Moto Razr 40 Ultra

in India in July last year. The smartphone has now received a massive price cut of Rs 20,000. Moto Razr 40 Ultra is the first foldable smartphone of the company to sport a 3.6-inch FHD+ secondary display. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm chipset and it sports a splash-resistant design.

The Chinese smartphone maker launched the Moto Razr 40 Ultra smartphone at Rs 89,999.

The foldable smartphone has received a price cut of Rs 20,000 and customers can now purchase the smartphone at Rs 69,999. The Moto Razr Ultra 40 comes in Infinite Black, Glacier Blue and Peach Fuzz colour options. The smartphone recently launched the Viva Magenta colour option of the foldable smartphone which also retails at the same price tag.
Moto Razr 40 Ultra specifications

Moto Razr 40 Ultra sports a 6.9-inch FlexView FHD+ display with 1080x2640 pixel resolution. The display offers variable refresh rate of up to 165Hz and up to 1400 nots of peak brightness. The smartphone also features a 3.6-inch QuickView secondary display with 144Hz refresh rate. The external display of the foldable smartphone is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on top.
The Moto Razr 40 Ultra is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM. The smartphone packs 256GB internal storage. The dual SIM foldable smartphone runs Android 13 and the company has also promised to roll out Android 14 update for the smartphone.

The Moto Razr 40 Ultra sports a dual rear camera with 12MP main sensor with f/1.5 aperture and a 13MP ultra wide angle lens with f/2.2 aperture. Front is home to a 32MP selfie camera. The flip phone comes with IP54 rating which makes it dust and splash-resistant.
The smartphone comes equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and is backed by a 3,800 mAh battery with 33W fast charging and 5W wireless charging support.
