Motorcyclist crashes into 3 people, parked car in Queens: NYPD

QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) – A motorcyclist crashed into three pedestrians and a parked car in Queens on Monday, according to the NYPD.

It happened on 37th Avenue around 5:34 p.m. A 44-year-old man was driving a 2023 Yamaha motorcycle when he crashed into the parked car, according to authorities.

The motorcyclist then barreled into three people on the sidewalk, police said. All were taken to local hospitals for minor injuries.

The motorcyclist was taken to Long Island Jewish Medical Center with lower leg, knee and foot pain, according to authorities.

The motorcycle had a defective accelerator, investigators said.

No arrests have been made.
