THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) --- A moped rider was killed in a hit-and-run in the Bronx on Friday, police said.
William Cruz, 35, was riding his moped when he crashed into a black sedan near Park Avenue and East 183rd Street at around 7:40 p.m., according to the NYPD. Cruz was found conscious and alert at the scene before he died at the hospital, police said.
The driver of the black sedan drove off and was last seen making a right turn on Washington Avenue from East 183rd Street, authorities said.
There have been no arrests.
