When asked about the team's mood after the first win of the season, Hardik categorically stated that the mood in the camp remains the same irrespective of the result as they look forward to the fresh start.
"There was dew last couple of days. Mood before and after the win has been the same. We play every game with a fresh start. Want to put early pressure with the new ball.
(On the team's effort in the last game) I heard it was the highest score without anyone scoring fifty, gives us confidence that even one guy batting long we can score 234. At the same time, bowlers held their nerve in the powerplay well. (On chasing at Wankhede) It has been a chasing ground and looking at the tradition," Hardik said at the toss.
In a solitary change to their playing XI, MI introduced Shreyas Gopal in place of Piyush Chawla.
Meanwhile, RCB made three alterations, substituting Cameron Green with Will Jacks, and including Mahipal Lomror and Vijaykumar Vyshak in the XI.
Both teams have registered one victory each so far.
MI secured their maiden win of the season after enduring three defeats, while RCB suffered losses in their previous three matches.
