TIRUPATI: Private

money lenders

kidnapped a 11 year old boy and tried to

kill

him after his

parents

failed to repay their loan.
According to Allagadda circle inspector Ramesh Babu, a local resident identified as Bhupal and his wife borrowed hand-loan from multiple money lenders through a woman identified as Venkata Lakshmamma.
But when Bhupal and his wife couldn't repay their loan on time, the money lenders exerted pressure on Venkata Lakshmamma.

Under pressure, Venkata Lakshmamma approached a local influential person identified as Sudhakar and with his help they kidnapped Bhupal's 11 year old son Chakradhar when he was going to the school early this morning.
The gang took the boy to the Vanipenta forest area near Mydukur, about 70 kms away from Allagadda, and tried to strangulate him to death. After the boy fainted away, they thought he had died and abandoned the boy at the forest area and absconded away.

The 11 year old who gained his consciousness a little while later somehow managed to reach the Mydukur main road from where he got help from the passersby, who got him admitted to the government hospital at Mydukur.
After the Mydukur police informed about the whereabouts of the 11 year old to the Allagadda police, he was shifted to the government general hospital at Kurnool. The boy's parents who reached the hospital were inconsolable and demanded the police to arrest all those responsible for his

kidnap

and for attempting to kill him.
Allagadda police registered a case and have laid a hunt for Sudhakar and Venkata Lakshmamma who kidnapped the boy and tried to kill him.
