Militants attack police and army post in Pak, 2 policemen, 3 attackers killed

NEW DELHI: Several officers have reportedly been killed in a blast in

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province

of

Pakistan

.
Police Chief Iftikhar Shah reported that two police officers were killed, and three others sustained injuries in the attack on the police headquarters last Friday. Additionally, two assailants lost their lives during the incident. Shah mentioned that a third militant was also eliminated by soldiers during the assault on an adjacent

army post

, as per an AP report.

This attack comes 3 days after a deadly

suicide blast

that resulted in death of 23 officers.
